Powder as far as the sea- Touring in the beautiful norwegian fjords.

This unforgettable ski/snowboard takes place in the endless fjords of Norway, or to say in the Lyngen Alps, the most spectacular of the Scandinavien mountains, 2300 km from the North Pole.

You are accommodated in the Lyngen Lodge, a comfortable wooden built hotel with sauna and whirlpool. From the accommodation you are taken on the first day with a speed boat to the starting point. What's special is the tour begins from the beach. With your mountain guide from ROCKnSNOW you ascend safely and comfortably to one of the peaks of this semi- island. Because we are there from the end of April to the beginning of May we can make use of the midnight sun and  have no time limits to depend upon. Therefore it is possible for us, depending on snow and weather, to time the start of the tour better. 

You will ski/board unforgettable runs as far as the sea in a fascinating landscape. Further your horizons, fulfill your sea run,dream, a truly memorable experience.

Details: After a filling breakfast the speed boat brings us to our choice of mountain and from here we start the tour.

Qualifications: Freeride Level 3, Level 4 - good fitness level.

Equipment: Snowboard: Your board should have soft flex and not too short.  Short climbing skis. Ski:  freeride skis, skins and touring boots; comfortabler ski boots are also suitable.  (Hire: see Links) Clothing should be light, plenty of layers and carry a fresh T shirt in your rucksack. Enough to drink. Muesli bars are the best to boost your energy.
